In 2004 Patagonia took 11 month old Celtic Triumph (CT) to the national show and sale in Canberra. He easily won the junior male championship but it wasn't until the two international judges brought him forward to line up with 2 others for the ultimate award of supreme champion huacaya alpaca that we really sat up and took notice. The other 2 animals were highly recognisable but it was CT who really caught our eye. As a junior he gave away nothing at all to these much older males, who were incidentally, a father and son combination of which the son had won the coverted award the year before. On this day it was the old man of the bunch that won Supreme Alpaca but it was CT making everyone sit up and take notice. When we finally had the chance to inspect CT, it was simply a case of love at first sight. Over the next year CT excelled, winning 8 Supreme Champion Alpaca Awards before it was back to the National Show and Sale again, where he was narrowly beaten by BP Khan ET for supreme champion alpaca. If you are not aware, BP Khan ET was sold at auction the next day for approximately $190000 AUD.
Timbertop purchased a half share in CT straight after the 2005 National Show. We did our first matings with him in January 2006 and our first cria arrived in December 2006. We have been to one show so far this year with his progeny and we won a number of ribbons including Supreme Champion Brown Huacaya with Timbertop CT Legacy. CT is producing ultra-fine fleeced animals that have great strength of bone on beautifully balanced frames with complete coverage all over. Their fleece styles are all very high frequency in thin pencil staples. We have recently received our first batch of histograms from CT progeny and the average spinning fineness of this group of 10 animals was 15.7 micron. We are so happy and impressed with CT's super gentle nature, super high virility, and super cria that we can't recommend him highly enough.
CT is also a SRS (registered trademark symbol) endorsed sire.

A True, Super Stud Sire!!

Alliance is co-owned with Wyterrica Park Alpacas and Blackgate Lodge Alpacas. He has a very bright, bold crimp style on a very broad chest and frame. He is from the Benleigh Sierra line who have won many ribbons at various shows across the country as has Alliance himself. He is not our lead sire and so is priced accordingly for the breeder looking to improve the herd at very competitive prices. In 2006 he cut a total of 5.6kg of fleece.

In 2001 Andrew made a trip to Peru where he scoured the mountains for his selection as the perfect ultra fine female to bring home and use as a base to breed our next stud sire. His choice, a Rural Allianza female, was then selectively bred to Accoyo Tulaco and the result was a magnificent solid white female we have called Timbertop Princess Alex. Alex was then selectively bred to Accoyo Commissario, and the result was a beautiful solid white male we have called Timbertop Box Office and we now look forward for him to be working his magical fleece qualities into our females during 2008. His fleece is a brilliant white with his line having the highest degree of frequency of the whole herd.
