Timbertop Obi-Wan Kenobi
Solid Dark Fawn Huacaya Male DOB: 24/04/2005 IAR: 82991

Obi-Wan Kenobi (OBK) is a beautifully balanced young male that has just entered our breeding program as the newest stud sire. He has impeccable lineage on both sides of his pedigree and rather than sell him overseas, as was wanted by our clients, we knew we had to get a number of seasons from him first. OBK's sire was a supreme champion alpaca that now lives in Switzerland and his dam's line has also won many major awards. At OBK's first ever show, Mt Pleasant 2006, he was Junior Champion Male, and then in August 2007 he went on to his next show where he won Supreme Champion Fawn Alpaca at The Colour Classic SA. His medium fawn colouring makes him attractive to white breeders as well as the coloured market so we believe he has a massive future ahead. OBK is not a big boy, but last year he cut nearly 5kg's of 17 micron fleece on his 2nd shearing. He's a super dynamo and we look forward to crossing this line over many of our CT females. Timbertop The Scud
Solid Black Huacaya Male DOB: 03/12/1998 IAR: 13505

The Scud is the male that we attribute a lot of our successes to and we could say that he has 'put us on the map'. We imported his sire Pppperuvian Allin Capac from North America in 1996 because of his excellent fleece statistics and frame, and also because he was a son of the infamous Accoyo Shere Khan. The day that The Scud was born was truly amazing, a brand spanking new young black male running around the paddock like a missile and already jumping on the backs of the girls. Scud started work at 20 months of age and at last look had the most registered progeny of any black Australian sire at 236.

His first 2 shorn fleeces were outstanding winning Supreme fleece awards including Champion and Reserve Champion fleeces at the 2001 'Blackout' competition. We owe the past, the present and the future to this magnificent male. His show record is the best of any black male in Australia.

First fleece results: 25.1 micron, 5.0 sd, 19.9 cv, 24.2 spin fineness.
2006 fleece results: 27.0 micron, 6.4 sd, 23.7 cv, 27.0 spin fineness.
